Photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) Art Lock with cobra stitch hitch. The first image shows the glow effect when boosted under a light bulb for 20 seconds. This will release absorbed sunlight during night time for a highly visible and unique installation, which is quick to install (CLICK!). This is one of many “Art-Locks” in a ongoing series, it is also part of my solar powered installations series which also includes a handmade solar powered art projector.

Quickie shot using DIY modded sensor Nikon D70, Broadrange UV-Visual-Infrared photo on un filtered sensor using 50mm lens and polarising filter (dust on sensor surface is clearly visible from either lens change or the modding process)

This is a run-up to a project where I intend to create a composite UV-G-IR image using a series of filters and the modded camera. essentially this will create an image which stretches the human range of vision at either end of the visible spectrum into the invisable world, presenting UV data on the B channel and IR data on the R channel of a digital RGB photo, more to come soon!
